No. We’re not talking about hundreds of spams received every day  to our email. Electronic waste is the electronic items that can’t be reused.

Batteries, for example, have become indispensable in our routine. Computers, cell phones, radios, controls, digital cameras, are just some of the many objects that need them to work. But when they don’t work well and need to be discarded, they become a big problem.

Toxic substances such as mercury, cadmium and lead, present in the composition of batteries,  can cause health problems and environmental pollution. So it should be thrown out in an appropriate waste in order to avoid the contamination of soil and groundwater aquifers with heavy metals.
