The Twestival is an initiative of Internet volunteers focused on raising funds for NGOs that help poor people. The meeting held on March 25 in different cities all over the world brings together twitter users concerned about social causes. All proceeds from the event will go 100% towards supporting the same project, and, this year, the NOG Concern Worldwide will benefit from it.
The institution has existed since 1968 and develops educational programs in the poorest countries, and has defined together with the Twestival the main needs to be met:
- Building schools;
- Training teachers;
- Furnishing classrooms;
- School meals;
- Water for schools;
- Reaching the vulnerable;
- Health education;
- Education for girls.
Last year, the proceeds went to the NOG Concern Worldwide, an organization that helps people without access to drinking water and built 55 new wells in Uganda, Ethiopia and India, having an impact on 17 thousand people.
Due to the success of the previous edition, the Twestival is back at full strength. You can also participate by registering as a volunteer or registering your city or school to participate in the mobilization.
Do not waste time and get involved! Its action can change the life of someone who needs it.
