An interesting experience
In July I participated in a chat with the finalists of the Talk to Gisele fans contest. I confess I was a little worried because although I’ve already given countless interviews and press conferences, this was a different experience because I would be answering questions from the fans, and I kept wondering … what their questions would be.
It was very nice to feel the love from these fans and be pleasantly surprised by the questions they asked. We talked about the socio-environmental version of the website, about how I feel about walking the catwalk, whether I thought of having some other profession, what this career has given me so far, the different jobs in the world of fashion, my dreams, about success, my birthday and also about what I usually do when I have some trouble or go through some rough times… among other things.
I would like to thank all the fans for their love and also to make a recommendation. It would be very nice if we could pass to each other a little of our life experience, of the lessons we learn along the way. Keeping that in mind, I’ve decided to recommend the book that has taught me some basic principles “The four agreements” – by Don Miguel Ruiz. I think this book is a wonderful beginning for those who are brimming with questions.

Oh lovely Gisele! I just noticed this was written in 2008, wish you could do another one ! Your fans love you very much. I love to have a great role model. I have followed you for many years and media only likes to write malicious stuff because it will sell their magazines. I feel like through your interviews I have watched over the years and through your immense success, you are nothin but a down to earth sweetheart. Your success and happiness proves all that. I have a great question I would love to know, that I have never heard you answer before: who is/are your model icons? and your favorite Supermodel of the 90s?

Artigo muito legal! Realmente seria muito bom a troca de experiência de vida, das lições que aprendemos ao longo do caminho. São estas verdades simples que trazem uma melhora real para a vida da pessoa e consequentemente para o mundo. Fiquei muito feliz com sua recomendação do livro….. já estou indo comprar…….

I picked up the Four Agreements after reading in American Vogue that you were on a journey and were reading Mr. Ruiz books. I have to say although it was an easy read it certainly had great depth and have since also became a fan of his website and will be purchasing more of his books. On the funny side if anyone wants to read a funny book “All I ever needed to know I learned in Kindergarten” is hysterically funny.
I will be picking up the Fifth agreement thsi week.
I love the work you are doing with the web-site and I have written many messages to the effect of that I respect that you are such a fantastic role model for my daughter. We here in America are proud of you. Keep up the good work. Prayers for you, Tom, Jack, and Baby Ben.
